Tile Cleaning
TILE ENVY has an in depth knowledge of the tile properties and the best cleaning processes that should be used. We use a PH based cleaner combined with state of the art equipment for superior results. This process cleans the pores of the tile and extracts the waste from the tile, which most domestic cleaning services cannot achieve. Using truck mount and portable equipment means we are capable of cleaning any amount of tiles at any level in domestic and commercial settings and for all construction situations.

New Floors
The new home you have built may be complete but those quality tiles may not be like the ones you viewed in the showroom. This may be due to several factors. Tiles that have just been laid may have dirt impregnated into the tile or have a fine smudgy look (grout haze).
Some tile types such as porcelain may have had a protective layer added for safe transportation. This layer may be difficult to remove. It may come as a plastic cover which when peeled off leaves an adhesive on the tile or it may have a waxy film on the surface.
Vitreous tiles, which are commonly used in outdoor areas, present a different challenge due to the rough surface suitable for safe outside use. The rough surface means the tile is less slippery to walk on but can act as a dirt trap which is difficult to remove.
Glazed ceramic tiles are a popular option these days due their durability, water and scratch resistance. They are usually easy to maintain but sometimes the grout is stained during the construction or renovation process. The TILE ENVY cleaning process will remove most stains resulting in a consistent look and clean finish.
Stone tiles such as marble, travertine, limestone, granite, bluestone and sandstone need proper care and protection. These tile types may require pre-sealing, cleaning or sealing to assist in stain prevention.
Existing Tiles
Existing tiles which look tired through years of use and abuse can be bought back to as new condition using the TILE ENVY cleaning system. Unwanted substances trapped in the pores of your tile and grout can cause your surfaces to look dark and dirty. Specialised equipment and products, not generally used by homeowners or builders is used to bring the tiles back to ‘as new’ again.
Heavy traffic areas such as kitchen require special attention but can be improved with the correct cleaning process and proper follow up care by the owner or maintenance team.
Terracotta and slate tiles which have been previously sealed and which look tired and lifeless are able to be restored by removing existing sealers, then cleaning and resealing using our special methods for this tile type. (See tile stripping.)
The cleaning will remove all the grease and grime restoring the tile and resulting in a clean, fresh look. In most instances the TILE ENVY cleaning process will also result in the tile’s slip rating being restored. TILE ENVY guarantees all our work and provides free follow up maintenance assistance via email. We will also conduct a follow up visit for any problems as long as you contact us within 7 days of the job being done.
