Gavin Hancox – Director and Operator

Gavin has had many years experience in Project Management and in the floor cleaning industries. Gavin began his business and technical career with Telstra in the data services area where he worked initially as a technician, then in the coordination of services between parties to supply network and business services for larger customer accounts. During his 22 years with Telstra Gavin worked in the key areas of Key customer project management, Data Systems Installations, completing his time there as a Project Manager.

The Telstra experience provided a solid base and expert training in customer service relationships, time lined, larger scale project management, quality control of products and services and business planning and review processes.

After leaving Telstra to pursue a career in small business Gavin secured work in a local carpet and floor cleaning business and soon became trained in carpet cleaning and flood restoration.

Within two years Gavin recognised more opportunities in the emerging area of tile cleaning so started to focus on training and research for servicing this area. In 2005 TILE ENVY was born and a small, but enthusiastic venture commenced servicing the local domestic and builders’ market.

Maryjane Woodgate – Administration Manager

Administration and sales support is provided by Maryjane as well as liaison with project and contract managers. Maryjane’s main background is in the Primary Teaching field as classroom teacher. Other non-class based roles have covered curriculum planning, budgeting, facility project management, staff training and library resource systems management. These roles have enabled the transition to part-time administration support for TILE ENVY which focuses on operational and strategic business areas.
